About
My research interests are into the relationship between the spatial layout of buildings and environments and their effect on how people move around, understand and interact in those spaces. I am an expert in space syntax analysis and have spent the last six years collaborating closely with cognitive scientists and psychologists on building usability. I am passionately interested in the use of virtual environments, not just as a visualisation tool, but as a method for researching human factors in the built environment.
