About

Angela Geary is a Reader at Northumbria University. Her research interests include 3D capture and computer aided manufacture (CAM) techniques in fine art, haptic cognition and skill development in creative and craft practices and the application of simulation and visualisation technologies in cultural heritage interpretation.

Recent projects include:
- Digital Art Capture (DAC) with partners including Tate and University College London (funded by the TSB),
- and FELSSO with Imperial College, in which her team undertook the first structural simulation of Henry Moore’s sculpture (funded by the AHRC).
